THANKS-GIVING.....The people of Honduras do not celebrate Thanksgiving, but I felt like since I live there that I should celebrate it and after much prayer I felt that this day should be a time of celebrating God's blessing with one of the communities I serve....so I beleived we (LOHI) should bless them with beans and rice...Mireya and talked about what to do. we decided that we would not only give bean and rice but meal, a roll of lard, soap to wash their cloths, candles (this community does not have electricity) and matches..we determined that it would cost about three hunhres dollars to feed 30 families for a week. But when I talked to Ann (my treasurer) we realized that I(the ministry) did not have 300 dollars extra.....but we agreed to pray and ask God to provided..I beleive that where He guides He provides...Guess what HE did......Hebron Fellowship in Thomasville heard of what I was planning and ASKED if they could sponsor the project....How great is that???? so we had a time of fellowship and Thanks-giving..what a joy...Below is some of the sights of that day..
Blessings
